Special Thank-You's
A very special thank you goes out to all the current members of the Parent Council Board as well as committee chairs. Your dedication and commitment to the various projects and goals of this year's Parent Council has been outstanding. For those who will be leaving us this year, you will be missed! For those continuing into next year, we're so grateful to have your experience to pass on to our newest members. Here's to another 25 years of Parent Council success!

*Note from the Parent Council President - Michelle Higgs I would like to add a personal thank-you to the above mentioned individuals who have helped me in furthering the goals of Parent Council this year. We have increased fundraising efforts, improved communication between parents, administration and teachers and have supported the goals of the LACHSA community. As many of you now know, I am expecting a baby in November 2011. This was a complete surprise to our family, but a joyous one. Our daughter Lizzie (and only other child) will be a senior next year. Needless to say, it will be a shift for us. With that in mind, I requested to step down as Theatre Representative for next year, but will stay on the Parent Council as 12th Grade Representative. While my involvement will become more behind the scenes, I'm committed to continuing to help in whatever way I am able. It truly has been a remarkable year to serve as Parent Council President. Thank you. (Plus, I look at it this way - SOMEONE has to test market the "LACHSA BABY" merchandise!) :) |
