Dear LACHSA Community,
It has been said that you don't really know Halloween until you have experienced LACHSA's Halloween! On Friday, October 29th our campus will be filled with glorious costumes and a frenzied atmosphere. We certainly want students to enjoy themselves and embrace their creativity, but we also want to ensure that some important parameters are observed:
Cover Your B's
As a general rule, keep your breasts, bellies, and bottoms covered. We can all be creative without revealing these parts of the body. Please know that LACHSA's Dress and Appearence Policy as outlined on page 35 of our Community Handbook still applies.
No Weapons of Any Kind
Some may wish to adorn their costume with a decorative rifle, a battle axe, or some other weapon of choice. Please don't. Even though our Hallowe'en event is a celebration of creativity, exuberance, and extravagance, we want to ensure that safety precautions prevail. If you're in doubt about the appropriateness of a particular item please consult with the LACHSA administration prior to Hallowe'en.
School Begins at 9:50 a.m.
Our start to the school day on Friday, October 29th is 9:50 a.m. the same time as every Friday.
Celebrate
Our leadership students have worked tirelessly to organize our Hallowe'en exravaganza. Let's ensure that this event is as successful as in past years. We are looking forward to another amazing Hallowe'en Celebration!
