This past Friday, I had the great honor of traveling with our chamber choir to the CSU Northridge Invitational Chamber Choir Festival.  Our students were exceptional, both on stage and off, and delivered a stand out performance.  They were under the expert leadership of their extremely talented director faculty member Zanaida Robles, a LACHSA alum.  This weekend also featured our theatre students' participation in the Drama Teachers of Southern California Festival (DTSAC) to glowing reviews.  Special thanks to our theatre faculty and our theatre chair, Lois Hunter.  Please check out the pictures from DTASC on our website at lachsa.net.

All of these events are important for our students and our school and I as I listened to our students sing I began to think about how few opportunities there are for all members of our community-families, students, faculty and staff-to enjoy these events together, as one community.

We are pleased to announce LACHSA Live!  LACHSA Live, December 11^th and 12th will bring together performances from each arts department in a two-day extravaganza.  This first-time festival will allow all of our families and students to experience our performances at one time.  We look forward to seeing you there!
