We are very excited to announce two Ashby Village community meetings scheduled for September. This will be our opportunity to explain the village concept to a large group of Berkeley and Oakland residents, discuss our progress to-date and our plans for an early 2010 launch.  The Ashby Village brochure and website needs some local color! We're looking for photographs depicting our families and neighborhoods. If you have a photograph of your family, your grandchildren, etc. on the porch, taking a walk, near a landmark, and are willing to share this image, please reply via email (digital image) or mail (c/o Jane Selby 3101 Benvenue Berkeley 94705).

Developing and maintaining Ashby Village takes a village of people. If you can, contact us and ask how you can help on a committee, on a project or to help in some small way. There is always something you can do to support Ashby Village. The more we all contribute, the stronger the village. You do not have to be a member to volunteer.
