Naneen Karraker "I joined Ashby Village now because, though I may never need its services, I know my community does.  I see it as a kind of insurance for individuals on the one hand, and a way of strengthening my community on the other."

Sunday Speaker Series
Beginning in March!

We are planning an Ashby Village Sunday Speakers hosted in members' homes.  Local artists, authors, musicians and experts in a variety of fields (some members, some just folks interested in supporting Ashby Village) have agreed to contribute to our community by sharing their interests and expertise with Ashby Village members.  A series of Evening Events is also being planned. Some of our up-coming speakers include:

Michael Haggerty- Speaking on meditation and its benefits
Chris Reardon- Speaking on "Aging in Place" from a health and practical point of view
Ted Roszak- Speaking about his book Making of an Elder Culture

We would like to see Sunday and evening events become an important part of Ashby Village. Please let us know if you, or someone you know, would be interested in being a speaker.  Email with any suggestions. Check regularly for dates and locations.
