From Where You Are...To Where You Want to Be

Quote Of the Month

"Everything speaks of God, and God is both in and beyond everything. Having the faith to take life one piece at a time - to live it in the knowledge that there is something of God in this for me now, here at this moment- is of the essence of happiness."               ~Joan Chittister

Prayer of the Month
"Holy Spirit, Truth Divine, dawn upon this soul of mine; Word of God and inward light, wake my spirit, clear my sight."
  ~Samuel Longfellow

Greetings!

Ahh...the glory of May! Here in the northeast it is a month to enjoy the warmth of late springtime, while still avoiding the intense heat of summer.  The earth is lush and colorful with the richness of new life. What a perfect month to consider getting 'back-on-track' in our personal and professional lives.
     Enjoy!

Back-On-Track
When our lives are a constant juggling act between work and family and personal life, it is easy to get off-track: to become scattered and unfocused...to let go of healthy habits...to allow the clutter of life to pile up. Though we may yearn to get back-on-track, the mere idea of getting everything in order again can seem too exhausting and overwhelming. But, getting back-on-track does not necessarily mean a complete, immediate overhaul. We can face into the process with tiny steps that will propel us forward; help us to re-gain our footing; and instill in us the self-confidence necessary to embrace life in all of its fullness.  We can start the trek in the right direction by naming one, small habit shift we can initiate today that will serve as a jump start for bringing us back to our whole selves.

~Are you ready to take responsibility for getting back-on-track in your life?

~What is one small habit shift you can make today to start the trek back to your more centered and successful self?
Re-Framing
logoWhen we are frustrated that life hasn't turned out the way we had anticipated, we can re-gain the hope and joy of a promising future by re-framing the questions we ponder about our lives. Instead of asking: 'What went wrong?', it can be empowering to ask: 'What have I learned over the past few years that will inform me as I design my life for the coming years?'
Own the Gifts of the Past.
Stand Firmly in the Present.
Embrace a Promising Future!
