 This weekend I heard the story of Goddess Amaterasu, a Japanese Goddess of the Sun.  This is my take on her story :

Amaterasu had a brother.  He was the GOd of Storms.  He created chaos for her.  Amaterasu ran away to find peace and quiet.   She forgot the Greater Good and sharing the light. 

The GOds had no idea what to do.  One Sister Goddess did.  She danced.  She did the HOKEY POKEY.  She put her WHOLE SELF in.   Had the GOds and GoddESSes laughing out loud so hard they shook the Earth.   

Amaterasu comes out to see what the HA HA is all about.  Curiosity opens her HeART wide and the light and CHI burst out.  She BEcomes one with ALL again.  She sheds a skin and emBODYs the LOVECat MeowGoddess she IS.   Ha ha ha.

 And the Sister Goddess LOVECat who created this ripple.... her name is Uzume, Goddess of LAUGHter and JOY.

These GoddESS - Amaterasu and Uzume - teach us about the healing power of LAUGHter and DANCE, and reMIND us to find Healing and Wisdom through the HA HA.
