The picture above is my cousin, Sister Goddess Alexis. She is the daughter of Mama Goddess Caroline who is the daughter of Crone Goddess Margaret also known as my Great Auntie Maggie.
Great Auntie Maggie spent her 92nd birthday in the hospital. Great Auntie Sylvia (her 94 year old sister) and I spent the last three days in California with Great Auntie Maggie and family (our cousins). We celebrated our favorite memories (cruising together, family reunions , the zoo & her 90th Birthday)

We assembled four generations of our Seltzer family in one room - from the Elders to Baby Max - to surround her with love. We held her hand as she dozed off and chuckled in her sleep.
Yesterday, Auntie Maggie passed away. I was on a flight back from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale when she surrendered in grace and died in her sleep.
I cried last night - as I surrendered to my feelings. Deep guttural sounds wrenched from my soul as my experience caught up with me. WSM Noah held me as I cried and when the sounds of grief were replaced by deep breathing he started LAUGHing the way Great Auntie Maggie did. He held me - chest to chest - and we LAUGHed and cried and LAUGHed some more. Surrendering to what IS - reMEMBERing the gifts - counting our blessings.
What a blessing to have been a part of your family, Auntie Maggie. I love you. Rest In Peace.
