Comenius - Europe in your classroom

2011- European Year of Volunteering

COMENIUS WEEK reflections

Comenius Week 2011 took place between 2 and 9 May to celebrate European school collaboration and lots of fun was had.

"We had a fantastic time holding our activities to celebrate Comenius Week", Faruk Uysal, Comenius Assistant at Childwall School, Liverpool.

Hundreds of schools across Europe took part in a range of celebrations. In the UK, schools were visited by members of the British Council Comenius team, who captured activities and interviews on camera, while other Comenius partners attracted coverage in the media.

Many schools have sent us their Comenius Week images - see these in our Comenius Week Flickr album

Our Comenius Week Flip cam prize draw has also taken place - see the lucky winners.
