Comenius assistant Brings a Taste of Europe to the Orkney Islands
Comenius Assistant, Orkney Islands
Being or hosting a Comenius Assistant offers so much more than just helping in the classroom.

When Vesna Oslak arrived in the Orkney Islands from Slovenia to work in the local schools, she really didn't know what to expect.  On the other hand, did the pupils and teachers from the Orkney Islands expect to gain so much from an assistant from Slovenia?

Not only did Vesna introduce the children to the benefits of ICT but she also had them chatting regularly to pupils from her home town.
