Simply Rugged in the Press
In the past few months we have had three publications about our products. Gunblast (Jeff Quinn) featured our exotic leather holsters. American Rifleman's (NRA magazine - September), Rick Hacker did a review on holsters for single action revolvers. And, also featured our carver, Rick Gittlein's work (see page 92). September Guns magazine (John Taffin) mentioned a sharkskin covered SP 101 holster.

CROSS OVER TRAINING

Becoming Ambidextrous Having injured my right wrist (strong side), and still wanting to remain armed, I have found that having a left handed holster or two is a pretty handy idea. I carry a small revolver either a 3" 357 S&W or a 3" .44 Special on my left (weak hand) side. I have also with some success, used my right hand holster on the left side for a twist (or cavalry) draw with my left hand. I highly recommend that before you do this, you practice shooting and drawing with your offside hand. Practice shooting one handed, both strong side and weak. Really learn to totality focus on the front sight. I have found that my ability to focus using the left hand is so intense, I can hit extremely well. Massad Ayoob teaches you to flex the muscles of the shooting and non-shooting arm while shooting, it really helps.
