Whether you are looking for fresh local organic greens and veggies, plump ripe fruit, delectable shortbread and baked goods, honey, maple syrup, fudge, chocolate and other sweet treats - we have it all.

 

There is also an assortment of fresh, frozen and cured meat products including lamb, pork, beef and turkey, as well as cheese, cider and authentic Polish perogies and cabbage rolls - made from scratch!

Pet-Friendly Environment 

You may even find the perfect gift in the form of a photo print, hand-crafted soap, stained-glass jewellery or colourful birdhouse or garden accessory.

 

The Caledon Farmers' Market offers a different theme each week, which guides the scheduled activities for children (in our Market Sprouts Club), culinary demonstrations, and special offers from participating vendors.

 

The Market's pet-friendly atmosphere also makes it a great venue for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors and get to know some of the many local artisans and producers of nutritious and delicious foods.

Featured Recipe - Steak Marinade
Few things say summer better than the mouth-watering aromas wafting from a hot barbeque grill.

The following recipe is very easy to make and is guaranteed to ensure you make the most of your summer grilling efforts.
  
Grilled SteakSteak Marinade
(Recipe courtesy of AllRecipes.com)

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation:
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, ground black pepper, mustard, onion, and garlic.
  2. Mix together well (using a hand blender if desired) and use to marinate your favorite meat.

TIP: This marinade recipe works well for all types and cuts of meat. Ideally the meat should be marinated, covered or wrapped and placed in a refrigerator for at least a few hours ~ with 24 hours being optimal.
