A Sneak Peek into The 2011 Caledon Farmers' Market

Caledon Farmers' Market LogoOpening Day for the 2011 Caledon Farmers' Market is Thursday, June 16, 2011 ~ only six short weeks away!

If the quality and diversity of the vendors that have already registered is any indication of how the Market will go, then this year's Market is shaping up to be the best one yet.

To date we have accepted applications from vendors that will sell an impressive range of products for a small market like ours, including:

  • Sarete Farmsbaked goods
  • fruits and berries
  • organic greens and vegetables
  • maple syrup
  • honey and honey-based products
  • fresh lamb
  • flowers and plants
  • chocolate and fudge
  • perogies and cabbage rolls
  • sprouts
  • and a few 'surprises' that we will announce as the opening day approaches

The Market's Advisory Group is also hard at work to ensure there are plenty of activities available for kids and grown-ups alike.

Make Your Own - Strawberry ChutneyALSO, we are still accepting vendor applications for this year's Market. Therefore, if you would like to become a vendor you are encouraged to submit your completed registration form as soon as possible.

Our Vendor Handbook and Vendor Registration Package are available for download on the Market's web page at: www.caledon.ca/farmersmarket.
