| UPDATE: Bolton Community Improvement Plan (CIP) | | |

On April 5, 2011 Caledon Council adopted a report which will see the approval authority for CIP Financial Incentive Grant Programs be delegated to the Treasurer. The Treasurer will only approve applications that have received unanimous recommendation from the CIP Review Panel. This will reduce the processing time of completed Grant Applications to approximately two weeks. The Financial Incentive Grant Programs provide an opportunity for the Town of Caledon to promote redevelopment, revitalization and beautification in the community. Bolton industrial and commercial property and business owners continue to see the benefit of applying for the CIP Grant Programs to assist with the cost of their improvement projects.
Also, in March, 2011, North West Holdings Inc. received approval for their application for Building and Façade Improvement and Landscape Improvement becoming the latest Caledon business to take advantage of the Financial Incentive Grant Programs available through the Bolton CIP.
