What's New 

Skacel continues to sponsor another KAL, Progressive Knitting.  Starting October, 2011, with a fun and beautiful shawlette knit with Simplicity this kal is certainly very entertaining knitting.  This knit along will run for four months - Oct, Nov, Jan and Feb. November's project is a pair of socks knit with Royal, a sumptuous yarn from Austermann. If you are interested in joining in please contact the shop to get on our list of participants. We will be happy to send you the yarn every month. Don't forget that the patterns and instructional videos will remain available free at Knit Purl Hunter.

Liz and her sister, Margaret, have been active designing patterns and learning about Ravelry and Esty stores. Margaret new website, Ravenswood Knit Designs, is up and still being fine tuned. Liz's Ravelry name is suttersgold and Margaret's is mbrennan. You can also find them on Esty.com

Classes and WorkshopsInventorySale
Pre-registration is required for all classes. All supplies are available at the shop. Students receive 10% off supplies. The fee for workshops and/or classes is $10/session unless otherwise stated.
No classes are scheduled for the fall. However, you are always welcome to schedule a class at a time to accommodate your schedule. Fee is $10/person.
Up Coming Fiber Friendly Events and Shop Notices
Shop hours for the winter will remain as usual - Wed., Thurs., and Fri., from 10-4.
Tip of the Month
Reading Charts
Unless otherwise indicated, read chatrs from the bottom up. On right-side rows, read charts from right to left. On wrong-side rows, read charts from left to right. When knitting in the round, read charts from right to left for all rounds. (Knit Wear, premiere 2011, p. 136.)
