Tip of the Month
Greetings!
Welcome to early spring. We still have snow on the ground but the seasons are definitely changing. Don't forget to spring ahead on the time this weekend.
With the change of seasons comes the predicted change in colors that we like. The bright summer colors look so inviting now and the fall colors appear rather dull and uninteresting...Liz and Claire
P.S., Linda is enjoying the sun in Arizona and recovering from surgery, keep her in your prayers.

Fiber Trip to Iceland  "...After 7 years and lots of folks asking if there would be another trip to Iceland, Barb and I are organizing a 4-day, 3-night trip for October 1-5, 2011.  I'm attaching a brochure for you and any of your clients and friends who may enjoy this most unique and interesting country.  Included in the $1,145 price is the three nights at the Fron Hotel, the Golden Circle tour and the trip to the Blue Lagoon.  I'm hoping to get our group tickets by March 10th, but if there is someone who needs a week or so extra to decide or make the initial payment, please let me know and we can accommodate them...Of course, we plan to visit the yarn factory again and perhaps even have the opportunity to meet and knit with some of the locals.  It really should be another fun trip to Iceland.  Let me know if you have questions or if you would like me to come over your way and talk to an interested group about this year's trip"...Pam Trask
If you are interested I will forward the email which contains more information and a copy of the explanatory brochure. I went on the first trip and it was fabulous ...Liz

Euroflax Linen, my personal favorite linen yarn, can be stiff to work. If softens after machine washing and drying but to soften it before using it to knit or crochet follow these instructions. Leave the hank knotted and lay it in water with a little fabric softener. Rinse the hank and hang until dry. Then wind the hank into a usable ball.
