Classes and WorkshopsInventorySale

Pre-registration is required for all classes. All supplies are available at the shop. Students receive 10% off supplies. 
 
Knit Miniature Ornaments. Need last minute gifts or gift tags? Come to one or all of the workshops on Monday, November 15. We will use the Magic Loop technique to knit a top down miniature sweater from 10-12, from 12-2 we'll knit miniature mittens and from 2-4 miniature socks. Choose one session or all - fee is $10 per session or all three for $20.
Cutting Edge Crochet with Color.  We will investigate several ways of working with Color in Crochet; a pretty stained class technique, tunisian colorwork using the double-ended crochet hook, and Intarsian crochet. Tuesday, November 16, 10-12:30, Fee $10.
  
Toe Up Two at a Time. Come and learn this interesting and fun knitting technique. During the class you will learn how to cast on seamlessly to move smoothly into knitting two at once with the Magic Loop technique. Time: 1 - 3:30. Day: Tuesday Nov. 16th. Fee: $10.
  
On Wednesday, Jan 5th, Margaret Brennan is returning to lead another Knittng Your Way to Financial Security Workshop. This time the topic is "Start Your New Year Out Right: Complete Your Financial Checklist for 2011!. Since we are hosting this in the winter the time of the workshop will be 12:30  to 3:30.

The Shop will be closed the week of Thanksgiving. Regular store hours are Wed, Thurs., and Fri., 10:00 - 4:00.  Please watch for additional closings during the up-coming Holiday Seasons.
 
One Last Hurrah (before snow) Knitting Retreat at Treehaven - in  the woods between Tomahawk and Rhinlander. CLOSED

Tip of the Month

Untreated animal fibers such as angora, mohair, wool, alpaca, or cashmere are the only fibers t will felt.
Do not use yarns labeled as superwash or machine washable.
Avoid yarn blends that include linen,cotton, acrylic, nylon, or polyester.
