Celebrate Shady Grove's 20th Birthday with a Family Picnic and Concert by the Soundsations and Syncopations Thursday, May 17 at Shady Grove Elementary School.
6:00 Picnic with birthday cake provided by Shady Grove PTA
6:45 Bring your blankets or lawn chairs into the multipurpose room.
No food or drink will be permitted inside. Please plan to put your picnics away outside before entering.
7:00-7:30 Concert by Shady Grove's Soundsations and Syncopations,
under the leadership of Mr. Matt Brady.
We will also be saying "Thank you" to our staff members who have served at Shady Grove for all 20 years.

Announcing New Shady Grove Schedule:

As previously announced, Henrico County elementary school schedules will be adjusted by 15 minutes next year. New time schedules have now been determined. Arrival time for Shady Grove students will be from 7:20 AM to 7:40 AM. The school day at Shady Grove will begin at 7:40 AM and dismissal will take place at 2:10 PM.
Thank you for planning ahead for this change. We look forward to having additional instructional time for the children!

Yearbooks are due to arrive in 3-4 weeks! If you have not ordered one and would like to be placed on a waiting list, please email Amy Foy at foyshawaii@yahoo.com with your child's name and teacher. The price is now $30. |

Volunteers Needed!
As the end the year approaches, we are having an increasingly more difficult time filling all our volunteer spots. With SOL's approaching and end of year activities planned- we need our volunteers more than ever! If you have signed up to volunteer for Morning Drop-Off, School Store or Welcome Center- PLEASE visit your nLists and help fill in the spots through the remainder of the year.
