Last chance reminder to order the 2010-2011 Shady Grove Yearbook!  You won't want to miss the theme this year.  Every child will want this book!  Throughout the book you will find personal artwork from our SGES students and fantastic photographs that capture the entire cardinal family of staff and students.  Click on the Yearbook icon on the PTA website or send in a check to your teacher made out to SGES PTA for $25.  The book will arrive toward the end of the school year.  Please contact Amy Foy with any questions regarding your order.

The Shady Grove Family was awesome "Marvelous, Magnanimous Givers in March" last week for the Central Virginia Food Bank!  We packed up 83 boxes of food!  Check out the pictures below!!

This week the SCA is asking for donations of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and liquid hand soap.  We will deliver these donations to Freedom House, a homeless shelter in Richmond. 

The week of March 21 our collection will be for Comfort Zone Camp.  We'll be collecting sharpies, index cards, pens and notecards, toothpaste/toothbrushes, flashlights and batteries, and tea light candles.

Mark your calendars now for our next spirit night....Tuesday, March 29th!  It is a contest....Which restaurant do Shady Grove Cardinals like better....Moe's OR 5 Guys Burger and Fries?  Choose either one for your dinner that night and Shady Grove will earn a % of the sales from the evening.  Then we will see which one earns the most $$ and do a drawing for a gift certificate.  Show your spirit and come out for a tasty treat!
