Thanks to many of you who have already become PTA members and given to our check writing campaign in lieu of fundraising! The PTA strives every year to meet a 100% membership goal. In doing this it allows us to do wonderful things like:
· provide in-class cultural arts and educational enhancement programs
· provide red Shady Grove t-shirts to each student for use on field trips and spirit days
· provide a $100 donation per classroom for teacher supplies
· purchase a Promethean interactive whiteboard for the library and an Activote classroom participation system for each grade
· organize fun and educational family events
· provide the teachers and staff with delicious lunches and snacks throughout the year
· organize committees, room parents and tons of volunteers to help at the school
We simply can't do all of these things without the support of our Shady Grove community. Currently, we are about 100 members short of our goal. If you have not joined our PTA, please consider doing so today. Click HERE to print a membership dues form and send it with your $5 dues in an envelope marked "PTA Membership" to school with your child. 100% of your donation impacts every teacher and student in our school.
