PENINSULA CANCER CENTER BACKGROUND

On September 1, 2009, Peninsula Cancer Center,an independent radiation oncology center in Poulsbo, opened its doors. Peninsula Cancer Center offers great service, expertise and the most up-to-date radiation techniques to ensure the best patient care.

Establishing a premier Cancer Center on the Peninsula is a realization of a shared dream. For more than a decade, Dr. Berit Madsen and Dr. R. Alex Hsi practiced in Seattle and treated a high-volume of patients traveling from the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. The daily commute took a physical and emotional toll on patients. They knew that there was a real need for additional radiation oncology services on the Peninsula.
