The New and Last Mayan Calendar Cycle Begins... |

Wednesday, March 9th, marks the beginning of the 9th Universal Cycle of the Mayan Calendar. What does this mean?
Well, for one, everything will speed up even more; our space and time continuum is actually shifting. The climate changes all over the earth, the social and political unrest in the Middle East are a part of the symptoms we can clearly see. The changes are caused by light impulses from the Galactic Center affecting our Earth and accelerating evolution at a rate 20 times faster than the last cycle that began in January, 1999.
Surely it cannot be a coincidence that astromoners are predicting this coming year to be the most active sun cycle yet; and it is heating up with X-class solar flares predicted in the coming days. This solar activity affects all aspects of our beings - our thoughts, our emotions and our bodies as we are adapt to the increased frequencies of light. Just as the earth's electro-magnetic field is being changed by the activity of the Sun, humans have a similiar field that holds our body, mind and spirit together. So you may notice feeling more jittery or on edge than normal, with unusual physical symptoms, disruptions in sleep patterns, unexplained anxiety or higher levels of energy.
And where are we headed? Ultimately this evolution is leading us towards the full realization of our spiritual nature and the capabilities of our light bodies. In other words, enlightment, unity consciousness; that level of awareness once attained by only a few. Continued breakdown of hierarchical power structures, increased use of light technologies and exploration of our universe are also natural outgrowths of this new frame of consciousness. It is happening, perhaps slowly it seems, but I suspect we will look back and be amazed at how far we have come in such a short time, relatively. It has, after all, taken us at least 16 billion years to get here...

Mayan Astrology
To this day the Mayan, Aztec and Cheeokee peoples keep a count of days that is not based on seasonal or astronomical cycles. Their calendar measures spiritual time; the movement of our solar system around the Galactic Center; a Pleiadian cycle. This cycle is made up of 20 Solar Dieties and a Mayan week of 13 days, creating 260 unique days. It is called the Tzolk'in or 'pieces of the sun'.
The calendar reveals a cosmic plan for the evolution of global consciousness on Earth; a plan spanning 16.4 billion years. It is this evolutionary process that is coming to completion in the coming year, actually 234 days from March 9th. An Aztec prophecy states that in this time "the Tree of Life shall blossom with a fruit never before seen in the creation, and this fruit shall be the new Spirit of Men".
According to Mayan Daykeepers, the Tzolk'in day we chose to incarnate on Earth reveals our soul's destiny and purpose. This is revealed in our personal Sun Sign and Galactic Tone. We each have a part to play in this Cosmic Plan; we come encoded with an aspect of the Creator who the Mayans referred to as Hunab-Ku.

On the eve of the unfolding Universal Underworld, and its new 18-day cycle, I feel inexplicably excited about the possibilities unfolding in the coming months. Prophecies talk about a Golden Age, a time of peace on earth, the end of suffering. Somewhere in the depths of my being, I remember this world and I have faith that it will happen. That together and with all we have learned so far we can create this New Earth. I look forward to sharing it with you.
