Dying Consciously Training

The transition from the physical world back to the world of Spirit is known in all sacred traditions as the Greatest Journey we ever take.
Traditional shamanic cultures have long practiced the Great Death Rites that bring psychological and emotional closure to the dying person and allow their Spirit to leave peacefully and with grace.
In this workshop you learn the steps and energetic processes for facilitating this final journey for family, friends and others. Even if you do not know someone who is dying, letting go of the past by practicing the 'little deaths' helps you to live more fully and consciously in every moment.

Greetings!
 So much has happened in March since the start of the Universal Underworld, the final cycle of the Mayan Calendar; this is what is like to live through a Great Shift.
As the earthquakes in Japan invite us yet again to remember our relationship with this Earth and with each other. How many reminders do we need about the transcience of physical reality? Mother Earth reminds us of the need for balance; the people in Japan are showing us how to walk with grace and dignity, to care for each other, and remember what is most precious in Life.
And in the Northern Hemisphere, we are reminded once again of the cycles of life and death, as Mother Nature pushes new life to the surface, even through the snow. After the death of my dear friend Steve this winter, I am acutely mindful of the entwining of grief and loss with the emergence and sweetness of new life. I am thankful especially for the lessons and gifts that continue to unfold; the reminders that Love is all that matters, and only Love prevails. Check out the Tribute to Steve on my website.
New classes coming up! Shaman's Way of Seeing (April 9) will give you tools for navigating more gracefully through the Earth's shifts. The Munay-Ki Initiation (May 11) and Dying Consciously (June 11, 12) workshops also prepare you for the transitions that we are all making.
I'm also excited to be planning the New Earth Awakening Journey to Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland, this coming September (17 - 24). We'll connect with the Ancestors, Apus (Spirits of the Mountains), Plant and Water Beings, opening to their ancient Power and Wisdom as we create our personal Medicine Bundles for walking on the New Earth.
