Fire on Wild Cove Beach | Yes, I'm writing from "the Rock" where 13 of us have gathered for a
Munay-Ki workshop retreat in Norris Point, a lovely community in the middle of Gros Morne National Park.
It's been a time of connection, ceremony and celebration, and we've
still got two days to go! Moose have been sighted walking down the main road,
and Orbs are showing up in our photos - can you find them there?
We've been serenaded by Gayle, a local harplist, and tonight we enjoyed a beautify fire
ceremony just down the road on Wild Cove Beach.
Did you know that Newfoundland has the only l/2 hour time zone in the
world? It's one of the many unique claims to fame Newfoundland can claim. A song by Greg Malone says ...When God designed creation, and drew up His master plan, He spent half an hour more creating Newfoundland!
That about sums up how I feel about this wild, wonderful place. Listen to the song at this link -

The beauty and power of the landscapes - the
rugged mountains, its many bays and ponds, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, - and its people, real, hospitable,
with a great raw sense of humor and compassion- that draws, and keeps, many
here, and that pulls me here. Russell Boulding, creator of the Earth Energy Healing Network is joining us in Newfoundland for the Sacred Earth Tour next week. Read his latest Earth Energy Alert here. Visit
You can visit my blog to read more including more photos from the workshop, and details of events and ceremonies you are invited to join on the Sacred Earth Tour beginning next week.
