Easter Greetings!

This past month was one of gathering in ceremony and celebration. The Spring Equinox brought new and intense energy that is quickening our spiritual awakening. The Equinox Celebration was wonderfully attended and enjoyed. We had a Despatcho Ceremony - a traditional South American ritual of creating a prayer bundle. We fed our spirits at Fire Ceremony and our bodies with a grand potluck feast. Thanks to all who attended and especially to our gracious hostesses, Fiona and Linda!

I was also blessed to participate in a workshop at Five Oaks Retreat Centre with visiting Peruvian shamans Don Martin Pinedo Acuna and Marcos Nunez Zamalioa. They shared their wisdom and medicine (see the 7-Chakra Flower Bath), and led us in powerful meditation and ceremony. The space and time was sweet and beautiful; Don Martin's flute and voice was magical; his healing sessions profound. I felt deeply nurtured in the company of so many shaman sisters and brothers, old and new. A great big 'Thank You' to all of you, and especially my shaman-sister, Janet Mahoney for orchestrating it so beautifully.

Flower Bath

Don Martin (known in Peru as El Condor) shared this wonderful tonic for your luminious energy body. Feel how it restores and rejuvienates your rainbow body -

Select flowers matching the 7 chakra colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple or violet and white. Boil the flower petals for 10-15 minutes. Let cool. After showering, pour the flower mixture over your body. Do not rinse. Leave overnight.

Amplify the benefits by offering a prayer to thank and bless the flowers, Mother Earth and Father Sun for the beauty and healing you are about to receive.
