It's the Weekly What? for Friday, July 20th.

We've seen the future and it's made of LEGO and robots!

As you're no doubt aware, there's nothing that can't be done with LEGO. Toys, amazing sculptures, bridges, and even ankle-tweaking shoes. And robots? Never mind them, they're busy making pancakes and pizzas (not together). Until the moment when you least expect it and they take over the world and enslave us! Don't worry just yet because robots haven't mastered dinner. But when they do, look out. Hey, that's enough paranoia from us... enjoy the newsletter! When you've made it all the way through, stop by our Facebook page and leave your answer to this week's question: "What's your best/fondest memory of high school?"

Hi-yaaa! Become a decision-making ninja!

Ninjas don't really scream "hi-yaaaa!" as they attack. If they did that they wouldn't be ninjas, would they? So anyway, master these rock-paper-scissors fighting techniques (Yessss RPS is a "fighting style." Deal with it.) and next time you're all trying to decide who gets to bring the next box of donuts, you can rest assured that when it comes down to Rock-Paper-Scissors to make the decision, you'll never pay a dime for donuts. (Unless someone gets the bright idea to start a "donut pool" or something similarly fair-minded. Then you're doomed. This is the ROOOOOOOCKK!! >>

Awesome celestial wallpaper!

Sorry guys: computer wallpaper. Mac users call 'em "desktop pictures." Either way, here's a fantastic gallery of astronomical photographs. Planets, nebulae, galaxies, interstellar gas clouds, and more. Just astounding stuff. And each image is available in a variety of sizes for your wallpaper/desktop use! "It's full of stars!" >>

Life on the other side of the Microsoft fence...

So not everybody uses Office. Or maybe not everybody uses just Office. Or maybe some people do, but they don't like it. Or not. What were we talking about? Anyway, for iPad and Mac users, Apple's "Pages" word processing application is a popular alternative to Word. Here's a few tips to help you work smarter with Pages. Rollin' rollin' rollin', get those words a-rollin'! >>

Cool fonts for intra-office passive-aggressive notes

Next time you need to post a snide note for the thieves that keep stealing from your Fruit Roll-Up stash, or drinking all the coffee without making another pot, download a couple of these comics-styled fonts and turn the snark up to 11! "To the rude person stealing my stuff..." >>

Question? Comment? Find a typo? Got something you think should be in the newsletter? Talk back to us and let us know! (We need something to do since the monkeys do all the writing.)

Sewing machine trading cards...

Yep. The acme of the collectible trading card phenomenon. "Dude, the Singer 160 has SwiftSmart threading AND a batting average of .342? I'll trade you my 1961 NM Wally Moon card for it!" Okay, TWO Wally Moon cards! >>

LEGO stilettos.

We don't know about you guys, but we'd definitely step out in a pair of these! We'd probably twist our ankles immediately, but we'd look super-fab doing it! Click clack... snap! >>

Bar codes can be cool!

"Oh no!" you're thinking. "Not another QR code article!!" Relax. This is about bar codes. Different animal. Also we're not being all preachy. You know bar codes/UPC codes, right? They're on everything. Well, a design firm in Japan specialized in creating fun barcodes for packaging, etc. Why don't we see more of this sort of thing on the shelves? Scan this! >>

No more stamps! The future belongs to Electrical Mail!

We remember the good old days when the horseless-mail centers on our computrolas did only two things: send email and receive email. These days, with a program like Outlook, we can do all sorts of things we didn't know we wanted to do. 10 tips for working with Outlook 2010 >>

All hail our robot overlords...for breakfast!

Just another sign of the impending robot take-over of puny hu-mans: The robot pancake maker. Yep, first the pizza 'bot, now this. Only thing left is dinner. Then their conquest of the humanity will be complete. Hey robo-dudes? How about a batch of peanut butter and Nutella bites for snacktime? Please Compu-pancake-a-tron, may I have another? >>

So, this is it. The end...

This just seems to eliminate the possibility of any future Weekly What? Newsletters. Sorry guys, it's been fun while it lasted. So now what do we do?

The Weekly What? is more fun when you share! It's easy, just click the "Forward email" link below... keep going... a little farther down... there it is! Send this newsletter to a friend! Don't worry, we won't hit them up for money.
