It's Friday and the robots are here! Run for the hills!

We thought we'd try a themed newsletter this week...

...But we couldn't decide between "kitsch" or "robots" so we decided to just go with both! So it's a "win-win" situation for you, the reader. So take a few minutes to check out the links below and then come on over to our Facebook page and answer the Weekly What? question.

The good, the bad, and the ugly of coupon design

Here's an interesting collection of old coupon designs. Some are cool in a retro-funky kind of way, some are kinds of tacky and others are just... weird. Like the coupon for a product called "Chipos" that were made out of "dried potato granules." Mmmm... granules. Get clipping! >>

Allee Willis' Museum of Kitsch

Well, we've been sitting in front of the keyboard for about half an hour trying to come up with something suitable to write about this particular item... we're still gettin' nothing. All we can say is that it's a bit like a train wreck-- we just can't NOT look. Weird disco accessories for a doll? This is stuff Barbie wouldn't be caught dead in. Let's go-go! >>

Painting kits for pets!

Yep! Unleash the artiste in your cat or dog. Get them a painting set! You know, like fine art. Right? Take a look! >>

Oops. We almost forgot about the robots...

This is the video, of a robot named "BigDog," that got everyone arming themselves with torches and pitchforks. Don't worry folks, I don't think we're looking at our new robotic overlord! I mean, look at this cute little number: LittleDog. Awww... so cute! It's even got a little handle like a dust-buster! Still, it might be worth your while to take a look at this site for a few useful survival tips just in case the robots DO turn against us.
