Website Changes
It has finally happened, the new website is live, and we are so excited about it. Everyone at the bakery says that I should have been sacked from doing it a long time ago, and I am a little embarressed to say that I agree with them.
Cyndy Schatz of Got Web Skills, has done an awesome job. I know some of you have said that you like the old site, it's only because your used to it, once you have used this a couple of times you are going to forget all about the old one, in fact I have already.
And remember some of the benefits of the new site, like free shipping on all orders over $40.00, and now we are doing weekly specials both instore an for shipping.
Also thank you to those of you who have reported glitches. These are inevitable minor inconvenience of setting up a new website, so please if you find a problem please let us know so that we can fix it.

Gluten Free Info Gem
Occasionally we get a customer in who complains how hard it is to
have their particular form of Gluten Intolerance, and about how limited their life has become, and how hard it is to be gluten free. We try to sometimes not so subtly remind them that since the cure is abstinence, which is entirely within the scope of their own control, health is nothing more than a choice and a little homework away.

Brunch For Two
Thank you to all those who updated you profiles so we better know how to cater to your needs. We have not yet started to send out differentiated news, but it will be coming soon, there are still plenty of you who have not updated your profiles, so we are going to make this a monthly draw, all those who sign up for our newsletter and then update their profile, and our veteran customers who update their profiles will go into the monthly draw for a brunch for two, and there are two winners every month.

Cake of the Month
I took this photo myself, and I know it doesn't have the sex appeal that one of Rob's photos would have, but this cake has taken our cakes to a new level of excellence. This is a 100% gluten free St. Honores cake. Now for those that don't know this is in basic terms a whole 9 inch cake made out of the stuff of Chocolate Eclairs, stuffed with fresh whipped cream. This is a picture of the second one we made, the first one disappeared so fast I managed to get a snap of the last piece just before it was devoured, you can see it on Facebook. While this is our Cake of the month, you are going to be lucky to get a piece, this one lasted a little over two hours from when we opened the doors. The only way you are going to be able to guarantee getting a piece is to order a whole one. Click on the image and find out how.

Our Breads
Golden Flax Bread
This is our regular house bread it's a savory bread, the same that we use for our delicious sandwiches. It's light, it's fluffy it's nutty in taste and soft in texture. It's flavor is derived
from the fresh golden flax seeds that we grind into it every day. It is low in sodium, and low in sugar. It comes in loaves, hamburger buns and pizza bases.
All of our breads, can be sliced, wafer thin for sandwiches,or chunky thick for toasting. They don't crumble before or after freezing. They make excellent croutons and is second to none for french toast.
Raisin Bread
This is a sweet bread that comes in a full size loaf or a bun. It is best described as a breakfast bread. It is lightly sweetened, and also comes with an abundance of raisins.
Rye Loaf
Of course this doesn't have any rye in it, but we messed about with other names, and decided that a rye doesn't taste like rye because of rye, it tastes like it does because of carraway seeds, so lets just call it what it tastes like, and it absolutely has the taste and texture of a German Rye bread, it has to be tried to be believed.
