Greetings!
Every one here at the Little Aussie Bakery wishes all of our customers a wonderful September. In this edition of our Newsletter we will be announcing the winner of our Brunch for two for all those who updated their profile with us. Letty still has places for our monthly cooking class, Rita will be presenting perfect gluten free pie crust. We are announcing two new exciting products. Check out our delicious cake of the month for September.

Butterscotch Cookie "New Product"
This delicious new cookie was built on the on the base of our very popular chocolate chip cookie, and it is almost all of a chocolate chip cookie except it doesn't have any chocolate chips, but it is absolutely scrumptious. Come down and try some, as soon as you can. Rita can't even keep her hands off them.

Vegetarian Pie "New Product"
This pie is amazing, I am definitely not a vegetarian, don't get me wrong I love vegetables, but if anyone prefixes anything with vegetarian or vegan, I almost immediately lose interest as far as food is concerned. However I had this pie for lunch a few days ago and no one told me that it was vegetarian, I could have sworn it was a beef pie. We weren't intending to come up with a meat substitute, but if there ever was a successful meat substitute we have accidently come across it. Come in and try this pie, the combination of spices, herbs, legunes and other vegetable puts me back home at a footy game, almost instantly.

Perfect Pie Gluten Free Pie CrustWe started regular cooking classes to assist anyone who wants to
improve their cooking skills in dealing with any issues they may be
having with regard to cooking for special dietary needs. Classes will
be the first Tuesday of every month from 6.30pm to 8pm. Hosted by Letty, our dietitian, be prepared for a fun evening full of practical tips, and information that you will be able to use to improve your life and the lives of your whole family. This month Rita will be presenting and the we will be focusing on perfect gluten free pie crust, perfect timing with the holiday season almost upon us.. You are sure to learn way more than you pay for, and enjoy yourself way more than you expected.

Back to School Meal IdeasThe focus of our cooking classes is changing to emphasise good nutrition. Now that everyone has settled back in to the school year Letty is presenting this session to assist busy families in providing good nutrition for their children at school This is a great resource for families with children with special dietary issues from gluten intolerance to autism spectrum issues. There is a wealth of information and practical tips, even for families whose only issue is time getting in the way of creativity. Join Letty for an evening of fun and information. Very informal session, and any questions are welcomed.

Brunch For Two
Thank you to all those who updated you profiles so we better know how to cater to your needs. We have not yet started to send out differentiated news, but it will be coming soon, there are still plenty of you who have not updated your profiles, so we are going to make this a monthly draw, all those who sign up for our newsletter and then update their profile, and our veteran customers who update their profiles will go into the monthly draw for a brunch for two, and there are two winners every month.
July's winners for a brunch for two are Raquel Ealy & Shane Demmer. Congratulations to both of you, you can pick up your prizes at the Bakery next time you are in. There is no expiry date and you can enjoy your brunch for two any Sunday.

Cake of the Month
Our cake of the month for September is an old favorite with a twist. Our chocolate sponge cake has a deliciously light and fluffy interior. Sponge cakes always leave you with a feeling of, "You know I could have another piece of that." This is filled with fresh whipped cream, and the top is decorated with a dark chocolate crust and a generous serve of fresh blueberrys to top it off. Not only does this cake look good enough to eat, You will definitely be wanting to take some extra pieces home. Individual Slice: $ 5.75

Our Breads
Golden Flax Bread This is our regular house bread it's a savory bread, the same that we use for our delicious sandwiches. It's light, it's fluffy it's nutty in taste and soft in texture. It's flavor is derived from the fresh golden flax seeds that we grind into it every day. It is low in sodium, and low in sugar. It comes in loaves, hamburger buns and pizza bases.
All of our breads, can be sliced, wafer thin for sandwiches,or chunky thick for toasting. They don't crumble before or after freezing. They make excellent croutons and is second to none for french toast.
Raisin Bread This is a sweet bread that comes in a full size loaf or a bun. It is best described as a breakfast bread. It is lightly sweetened, and also comes with an abundance of raisins.
