Focus for Athletes
BRAIN WAFERS
We recently had the good fortune to have a visit from PGA pro golf coach Rick Provost, the pioneer of combining golf specific and mental game training into an integrated program of training in professional golf. Rick has worked with players like Vijay Singh, KJ Choy, Brian Gay, Brad Faxon, Corey Pavin, Tom Pernice Jr., Pat Perez, Tim Petrovic, Chris Stroud, Cliff Kresge, and many more. He asked us to produce a food that could help to maintain focus in what can be a grueling training and game schedule. This food had to be easy to carry, with readily available brain nutrients that did not cause the blood sugar spike and crash associated with many energy products. The result of this collaboration is the Brain Wafer. For sustained release energy, prolonged clear focus and concentration. for the serious athlete. More about Rick Provost

Cake of the Month
June's
featured cake is our apprentice Smela's first independent creation.
She got the inspiration for this one, assembled the ingredients and set
forth on an adventure to create a gastronomic delight. And of course
she succeeded. We discsussed its name after many and frequent
samplings, and we called it the Chocolate Raspberry Mudd Cake, and it
is sublime. Well done Smela! We have had it in the cabinet now three
times, and believe me it never lasts very long. Why not order a whole
one for your next celebration.
By the slice $ 5.75
Whole Cake: $ 46.00

Our Breads
Golden Flax Bread This is our regular house bread it's a savory bread, the same that we use for our delicious sandwiches. It's light, it's fluffy it's nutty in taste and soft in texture. It's flavor is derived from the fresh golden flax seeds that we grind into it every day. It is low in sodium, and low in sugar. It comes in loaves, hamburger buns and pizza bases.
All of our breads, can be sliced, wafer thin for sandwiches,or chunky thick for toasting. They don't crumble before or after freezing. They make excellent croutons and is second to none for french toast.
Raisin Bread This is a sweet bread that comes in a full size loaf or a bun. It is best described as a breakfast bread. It is lightly sweetened, and also comes with an abundance of raisins.
Cinnamon Scrolls Sweet round rolls made from raisin bread dough, wrapped around cinnamon and cane sugar, to form a pinwheel shape.
Rosemary Bread This comes both in loaves and buns, like the house bread it is rich in flax seed, light in sodium and sugar. Fresh ground rosemary leaves are added to the dough before baking giving this bread a warm Mediterranean flavor.
