Books: The UltraMind Solution
Mark Hyman MD describes in this book, how we are seeing in our modern Western Culture an epidemic of "Broken Brains". This is not a scaremongering text it offers some very practical solutions for fixing our "broken brains" by first fixing our broken bodies. Mark believes that our diet's play an enormous part in the damage that we do to ourselves. And surprise surprise we find that gluten is not playing a minor part in the chorus line here. Mark sees gluten as a major player in this problem, and not just for people with "gluten sensitivity" This is a must read for anyone with any sort of interest in improving their health, and accepts the notion that they might be expected to have an active role in that self improvement. get yours at: Amazon

Our Breads
Golden Flax Bread This is our regular house bread it's a savory bread, the same that we use for our delicious sandwiches. It's light, it's fluffy it's nutty in taste and soft in texture. It's flavor is derived from the fresh golden flax seeds that we grind into it every day. It is low in sodium, and low in sugar. It comes in loaves, hamburger buns and pizza bases.
All of our breads, can be sliced, wafer thin for sandwiches,or chunky thick for toasting. They don't crumble before or after freezing. They make excellent croutons and is second to none for french toast.
Raisin Bread This is a sweet bread that comes in a full size loaf or a bun. It is best described as a breakfast bread. It is lightly sweetened, and also comes with an abundance of raisins.
Cinnamon Scrolls Sweet round rolls made from raisin bread dough, wrapped around cinnamon and cane sugar, to form a pinwheel shape.
Rosemary Bread This comes both in loaves and buns, like the house bread it is rich in flax seed, light in sodium and sugar. Fresh ground rosemary leaves are added to the dough before baking giving this bread a warm Mediterranean flavor.

Cake of the Month
April's featured cake is our beautifully decorated Lemon Tart. If you are lucky enough to see this in our cabinet, grab a piece without hesitation. For two reasons, there is absolutely no doubt that you are going to Love. Secondly, if you leave it till you get back from the rest- room, there is a very good chance that someone else saw it first and finished it on you. This dessert is delightfully tart and lemon flavored, the base is made from our own crushed vanilla cookies. It is decorated with edible marzipan fruit, and real leaves, which probably aren't edible. A definite must taste By the slice $ 5.75
Whole Cake: $ 46.00
