Historic Pump House closed for the season

This year, Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area saw a great increase in the use of the grounds and facilities of the Historic Pump House & Water Tower, 880 E. Waterfront Drive, Munhall, PA, alsoa trailhead for the Great Allegheny Passage. The trail, which stretches from Washington, DC and will connect to downtown Pittsburgh in 2012, was completed through The Waterfront in June, and the amount of visitors to the site quadrupled in response. Though parking is still available, the pump house trailhead restrooms are closed for the season. Facilities will reopen in the spring. See you in 2012!
Wishing all of our supporters a healthy and prosperous 2012!
