Greetings!

The vines have survived earthquakes, hurricanes and now floods. As we get into some pleasant weather, we hope you can come out and enjoy it with us.

Market Day and Baseball at TSW
Celebrating our country on Patriots Day by watching our national pastime

Market Day at TSW
Market Day at TSW
In spite of the recent weather, on Sunday, September 11 from 12 to 6pm, we will be celebrating the fall with our second annual Market Day festival.

A Civil War-era color guard will lead us through a moment of remembrance, followed by vintage 1864 rules base ball as our home team, the Eclipse Base Ball Club of Elkton plays a split double header against the Dauntless Base Ball Club of Havre de Grace and the Chesapeake Nine of Baltimore. There will be food, crafts and, of course, wine.

We will be harvesting that day. If you are potentially interested in helping to harvest the grapes, please take a second to complete our Harvest Interest form and let us know. We'll make sure you are fed and we'll supply the tools. Please dress appropriately.

Note: Due to the recent weather, we ask that you park in designated areas. The ground has received a lot of rain, and while most of the area we park on will have dried up, there is potential for some soft spots.

First Annual Cecil County Food and Wine Festival - Postponed due to Flooding on the Susquehanna
New date: October 15

First Annual Cecil County Food and Wine Festival
A New Festival close to home
It's been quite a few weeks for weather! This festival was scheduled for this Saturday from 10-6. However, due to flooding on the Susquehanna and water releases from the Conowingo Dam, Marina Park in Port Deposit has been flooded. The event has been rescheduled to Saturday October 15.

We will be sampling and selling wines at the festival from 10 AM to 6 PM.

We are also looking for volunteers to help! If you would like to gain admission to the festival and can help us at the tent, please send us an email. The shifts are 8-12, 12-4 and 2-6.

The harvest has already started! We have more wines coming soon, and always lots of work to do. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming festival, tasting or at the winery soon.

Cheers,
Morris & Janet Zwick
