Wow, so many exciting things going on at the winery, where to begin?! First, welcome to our new fans and friends. Salut! and many thanks to both our long-time and new supporters.
May brings our first big festival - Wine in the Woods - followed closely by Great Grapes in June. Our Tasting Room is OPEN Saturdays and Sundays 12-6pm, new wines have arrived with a few more on the way, and we have launched our new website. We're gearing up for Direct Online Sales and we've introduced new (at least for us) packaging.

Wine in the Woods -
Volunteers Needed
May 21-22
The first big wine festival in Maryland is right around the corner. Wine in the Woods - located at Symphony Woods in Columbia, MD brings together Maryland wineries, great food, music and a picnic-like atmosphere. We'll be bringing our new wines and need your help pouring. Volunteers get into the festival for free, including a tasting glass, and get to sport a brand-new TSW T-shirt. Please sign up for an available shift (4 hour shifts throughout the day) using the Volunteer Form on our new website.

Great Grapes - Volunteers Needed

Great Grapes! is Baltimore's casual and fun wine festival.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax in the beautiful green setting of Oregon Ridge Park, listen to music, and have some great food. Volunteer with us and get into the festival for free, meet some new people, and have fun. You'll also get a TSW T-shirt in the deal and learn about wine. |

We had quite a response to our Groupon deal and we're looking forward to hosting you for tastings at the Winery! We're very excited (and admittedly a bit overwhelmed) by the great response to this promotion. We've got plenty of wine and reservations available throughout the summer and fall.
The Tasting Room is open weekends May - October and the Groupon coupon is good through October 2011. Reservations are not strictly required, but are requested so we can ensure your visit is a great one! Please use the Contact Form on our website to let us know when you're planning to come. Reservations are also requested for groups of 8 or more. New 2011 Wines have Arrived!
including a new Bottle option!
Our new wines are now available for tasting (& buying) at the winery and spring festivals. They'll be arriving in stores soon. We've got a great lineup of whites, reds, and our popular Five Rivers Rose' to satisfy a variety of palates. One of our most interesting wines is our 2011 Reserve Traminette. This slightly spicy off-dry white wine received excellent reviews last weekend at the Tasting Room. And surprise, we've decided to bottle this special wine in order to preserve its aging ability. We also have our classic Traminette in the 1.5 Liter box, as well as our semi-sweet Cayuga, and our dry white Vidal Blanc. We're introducing a Merlot in our lineup of red wines to complement our Cab Franc and Cecil Red. And, finally, we've brought back our popular Five Rivers Rose' with its bright, slightly tart, slightly sweet berry flavor and still have ample bounty of our Better Red than Dead port-style wine.
