Terrapin Station Winery
Greetings!

Welcome to Spring!

Our newly modified tasting room is complete, open and ready for visitors. We are now open Saturdays and Sundays 12-6 (Closed Easter Sunday). Later in the Spring we will put up a large "event tent" just outside so we can bring live music and fresh air. We're still working on our new entrance and parking lot, which we hope to break ground on later this year.

Opening Day for Vintage Base Ball is this Saturday! We are the new home field of the Elkton Eclipse Base Ball Club. This is REAL vintage baseball (circa 1864) that we think everyone will enjoy.

New wines will be trickling in over the next few weeks. This weekend we will have a new Merlot available. We're rushing to get more wines done as fast as we can!

Hope to see you soon.

The Elkton Base Ball Club and TSW are proud to bring you vintage baseball (vintage 1864). Opening day is tomorrow April 9 at 1 PM. See how baseball used to be played and cheer on the home team to victory.

The tasting room will be open, and we'll have have concessions on hand.

We hope to see you there!

Great response from our fans

This morning if you are on GroupOn you will have seen a deal involving TSW. Pretty exciting stuff!

Between base ball and the GroupOn coupon, we are expecting quite a crowd this weekend. Since the GroupOn coupon is good through October, there's no need to race to TSW this weekend (we'd love to have you, but we aren't like a Napa Valley winery).

Reservations are not required, but are requested so we can ensure your visit is a great one! Please send us a note reservations@terrapinstationwinery.com to let us know when you're planning to come. The Tasting Room schedule is already pretty crowded for April, so we're taking reservations for weekends May - October. Also, reservations are requested for groups of 8 or more.

Thanks for your support & we hope to see you soon!

Pimlico Decanter
& Upcoming Festivals

Decanter Logo

The Maryland Wineries Association, in conjunction with the Maryland Jockey Club and the Maryland Horse Council, present DECANTER -the first event to highlight the heritage and tradition of both Maryland wine and Maryland horse racing- on April 16, 2011 from 11am-6pm at historic Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, home of the Preakness Stakes.

Terrapin Station Winery will be pouring wines for sampling. Enjoy a unique infield vantage point to the races while tasting wines from Maryland wineries. Local artisans, food vendors, and specialty equine products will also be available for shopping under the White Tents in the infield.

Tickets are $30 for General Admission / $45 for an upgraded Decanter Pass. For more information, visit Pimlico.com or the Maryland Wine Association. Advanced tickets available via www.MissionTix.com

As always, if you'd like to help pour (& get into the Festival for free), send us a note volunteer@terrapinstationwinery.com

Where to Buy our Wines

Website News
Our new website is under construction and coming soon! We hope to go live sometime in May.

We are also looking forward to opening our Online Store after the Governor signs the new Direct Shipping bill. We will be able to sell wines direct from our Website and ship to you! Stay tuned!

We're ready for winter to end, and the grapes are calling us to get out and get to work. Soon they will be budding and we'll be serving up new wines from the excellent 2010 vintage. We hope to see you this weekend and later this spring. We will also be at some new festivals and new events this year - busy as always. Stay warm and enjoy a glass.
