 Kerry Kelly Novick and Jack Novick, PhD May 21st in Raleigh May 22nd in Cary On Friday, May 21st NCPF will hold a fundraising reception and talk on Building Emotional Muscle in Children. This event will be held at Gallary C in Raleigh from 7:30pm-9:30pm and is open to the public. It will feature raffle prizes provide by PF Changs, Casa Carbone, Triangle Aquatics Center, Noa Spa Nails, Bruegger's and Starbucks. See information and registration link under programs.

2010-2011 David Raft Fellowship Application deadline

The fourth annual David Raft Fellowship will be awarded to a clinician enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas certificate programs or 2010-2011 courses. The David Raft Fellowship will provide up to $1,250 to help defray the costs of tuition.
Attention all Candidates: Interest-free Loans for Training
(Applications due May 3, 2010) The Candidate Assistance Fund of the American Psychoanalytic Association provides loans up to $5,000 to candidates training to be psychoanalysts. The loans are to be repaid within a maximum of six years. Currently, between five and seven loans are made annually. There are two criteria considered in approving a Candidate Assistance Fund loan: 1. the need as evidenced by an applicant's financial need. 2. the ability to repay the loan as evidenced by the applicant's overall financial health. Eligibility:APsaA Affiliate Members in good standing are eligible to apply to the Fund. Affiliate Members must have completed one year of training. Financial need must be demonstrated. Application Procedure:Email Dean Stein, APsaA's Executive Director, for an application form at deankstein@apsa.org. Application Deadline: Applications for loans from the Candidate Assistance Fund need to be received at the APsaA offices by 5:00pm Monday, May 3, 2010. |
