Begins: January 28
CME Credits: 12
CE Credits: 9 Category A & 3 Category B

This 8 session course will provide an exploration of the mutually enriching dialogue between clinicians basing their treatment on a psychoanalytic perspective and students of mindfulness working from a Buddhist perspective. Each class will include a period of mindfulness practice.

Begins: April 1
CME Credits: 12
CE Credits: 9 Category A & 3 Category B

This 8 session course will examine from a developmental perspective how salutary religion serves a holding function, how objects of faith psychologically operate differently depending on the maturity of the individual believer, and how a psychotherapist's ability to hear and speak to different levels of meaning of religious speech affects the manner in which faith enters the sphere of the psychoanalytic process. Clinical vignettes with religious patients will be integrated into class discussion.

Class will be limited to 10 students.
