NCPF Supports the Foundation for Hope by participating in the Walk for Hope
Sunday, October 11
Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope Team NCPF will be at it again! We will have a team walking in support of mental health efforts through the Foundation of Hope. You can either walk with our team by selecting "I want to join an existing team/family" and then making sure to note put NCPF under Team/Family code on the registration page. If you would like to make a contribution to the team please do so by selecting "I want to contribute to a registered walker" and put Team NCPF under the Walker Code. Be on the look out for details on how you can contribute soon. This is just one more way NCPF is helping to create a more resilient community!
 Last year at the 20th Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope it was estimated that 3,000 participants walked and donations reached close to $400,000. This year they have added the 1st Annual 10K Run for Hope.

Saturday & Sunday, October 10-11 2009-2010 MindPlay Season Starts Soon! The North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society kicks off its new 2009-2010 MindPlay season at PlayMakers Repertory Theater (Chapel Hill, NC) with Michael Hollinger's OPUS: "Sex, drugs and chamber music!" Heather Craige, MSW will lead the discussion following both the October 10th show at 8pm and the October 11th show at 2pm.
About Opus: Talent and temperament collide in a behind-the-scenes look at the world's finest 'fictional' string quartet. The famous ensemble threatens to unravel when its most talented member goes missing and a young woman is hired to take his place. Includes collaboration with UNC's Department of Music.
