Lancaster Pride is actively looking for interested people to become members of our Board and of our various Committees.

We have many exciting opportunities for you to get involved! 

 

If you are interested in serving on the Board, please review the Board Openings document for information on positions available and what is expected. Also as a Board Member, you will be expected to abide by the Lancaster Pride By-Laws so you can review these as well. Thanks to everyone that showed up at our Isaac's Fundraiser. It was a big success and a fun time was had by all! Our next one is planned for March 21st. Look for information closer to the time!

 

The Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will hold its next Story Hour on Monday December 12th from 7 PM to 8 PM at Winding Way Books at Gallery Row. This is a family-friendly LGBT-friendly event. We will be reading "Christian, the Hugging Lion" by Justin Richardson, Peter Parnell, & Amy June Bates, which is geared towards ages 4 to 8 but all ages are welcome! For more information on the book, check out Good Reads. Have your kids bring their pillow and be entertained by "Christian, the Hugging Lion!" Winding Way Books will also donate 25% of the sale of books made throughout the day to Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach so even if you don't make it to Story Hour, drop in and buy a book. And be sure to tell them it is in support of Lancaster Pride! Story Hour is held the second Monday of every month.

The Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will host its' next Bingo Night on Monday December 26th from 7 PM to 9 PM at Carmen & David's Creamery. Bring your kids & teenagers along to a family-friendly evening out! It's free, there are lots of fun prizes to win, and ice cream & drinks are available for purchase. Don't miss out on this popular event! Bingo Night is held the fourth Monday of every month.

Save the date--Pride Festival & Celebration will be held on Saturday June 16th!!! It is from 12 PM to 6 PM at Buchanan Park. Pride is a celebration of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersexed, Questioning Folks and their Allies in the Lancaster Community. The family-friendly outdoor festival features live entertainment; varied vendors offering arts & crafts, Pride regalia, & more; full menu of food offerings; & children's activities. $5 entrance fee, 12 & under are free.
