Our 4th Pride festival is a little over a month away! Join us on Wednesday May 18th for our monthly Public Pride Meeting  from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at the Lancaster YMCA. Come and discover how you can get involved!

Mark your calendars for Sunday May 15th! A Benefit for Lancaster PA Pride 2001 will be held at The Tally Ho. Showtime starts at 10:30 PM and features Whitley, Felicia, Amethyst, Johanna, Kahmor, Nitra, Platinum, Miraj, Visa, & Minaj. $5 cover & 21+.

The Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will host its' next Bingo Night on Monday May 23rd from 7 PM to 9 PM at Carmen & David's Creamery. Bring your kids & teenagers along to a family-friendly evening out! It's free, there are lots of fun prizes to win, and ice cream & drinks are available for purchase. Don't miss out on this popular event!

On Friday May 27th proceeds from tickets to Hole in the Wall Puppet Theatre's Cabaret--"No Strings Attached" will go to Lancaster Pride! "No Strings Attached", the vocal/piano duo of Robert Brock and Larry Huslin will be joined by "Marionettes Madness" featuring such celebs as Liza Minnelli, Billie Holiday, Texas Guinan and Long John Silver. Larry and Rob perform original works plus an eclectic repertoire from Beatles, Blues, Jazz and your favorite holiday standards. Dessert and coffee following the performance. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or ordered online at

Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach will again sponsor a Highway Cleanup of the section of Rt. 23 that has been adopted by the Gays and Lesbians of Lancaster for over a decade. Come one out on Saturday June 4 and help make our community more beautiful! Keep posted for meetup location and time.

Save the date--Pride Festival & Celebration will be held on Saturday June 18th!!! It is from 12 PM to 6 PM at Buchanan Park. Pride is a celebration of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersexed, Questioning Folks and their Allies in the Lancaster Community. The family-friendly outdoor festival features live entertainment; varied vendors offering arts & crafts, Pride regalia, & more; full menu of food offerings; & children's activities. $5 entrance fee, 12 & under are free.
