Dear Friend of the Community Center,
The Center has been operating a Coming Out Support Group every Monday night at the Giant Community Center on Linglestown Road in Harrisburg at 7:00pm.
The group is an open support group for individuals who would
like to talk about their coming out experiences, including individuals
whose experience relates to their previous history and those whom are
currently coming out. The group is facilitated by Justin Wilt and Alexis Bruno. Please stop by on a Monday night or pass the information about this important group along to someone who would be interested in taking advantage of it. For more information, contact the Center at info@centralpalgbtcenter.org or (717) 920-9534.
Sincerely, The LGBT Community Center Coalition of Central PA

Come Let Us Reason Together

New Grant to Fund Faith-based LGBT Initiatives
The LGBT Community Center has received a $9,000 grant from the E. Rhodes & Leona B. Carpenter Foundation to launch "Come Let Us Reason Together," an outreach and education program connecting faith-based communities and leaders with LGBT populations in central Pennsylvania.
The grant will help fund three phases of the project: a clergy roundtable that will meet monthly to discuss LGBT issues and policies within their congregations; an education and film series that will focus on bridging the gap between faith-based and LGBT communities; and a resource library for LGBT people of faith.
For more information, please contact the Center at info@centralpalgbtcenter.org or (717) 920-9534.
