Women's Leadership Council | |
Justin Lookadoo Made an Impact on Butler County!
On February 5th, the Butler County United Way Women's Leadership Council teamed up with author and national speaker Justin Lookadoo to create a truly unique and insightful day for Butler County Youth.
Kudos to Kathy Rambo, a Women's Leadership Council member and National Etiquette Presenter, who taught students the fundamentals of properly introducing themself to others as well as dining etiquettle while at home and in a public setting.

Thanks in part for Sponsorship from First Financial Bank and Skatetown! We cannot wait to present an even bigger program next year.
Last but certainly not least, THANK YOU to Kathleen Gammon and ALL of the Women's Leadership Volunteer's and Supporter's for your hard work and perseverance.

| Dodgeball Raises $$$ | |
For the second year in a row, the students of Garfield Middle School in Hamilton, Ohio have seen that being charitable and generous can lead to fun with friends.
The National Junior Honor Society at Garfield Middle School in Hamilton, Ohio hosted a competitive 5-on-5 dodgeball tournament on December 2nd, 2010 to raise money for the United Way of Butler County. Students who wanted to play were able to sign up for $20 as a team and students who wanted to cheer on their fellow classmates donated $3 to the charitable cause.
There were a total of 80 students involved with 16 teams for the competition and many more students in the stands watching the event. By the end of the day, the National Junior Honor Society was proud to announce that they had raised over $1,200 for the Butler County United Way.
Thanks again to all the students and staff of Garfield Middle School for such a successful charitable event!
