NYIT-OW Opens Outdoor Fitness Center
 Alumnus Roy Arad (B.S. '07) and international play and fitness equipment company Games & Sports have donated equipment for an outdoor fitness center on the Old Westbury campus. Adjacent to the NYIT Sports Complex, the new fitness center features seven resistance training machines that allow all members of the NYIT community to burn calories and increase muscle tone. NYIT Open House Attendance Tops 2,000
A record crowd of more than 1,000 prospective students and families visited classrooms, residence halls, and athletic fields at the NYIT-Old Westbury Open House on Nov. 7. Students took in presentations about about academic programs, campus life, admissions, and financial aid; enjoyed snacks and giveaways; and posed for photos with the NYIT Bear. In all, nearly 2,000 individuals attended Open Houses at both New York campuses this fall. |
