ALUMNI WINE TASTING IN MANHATTAN 
Wine Glasses SmallThursday, Feb. 4 
Join fellow alumni in New York City for a wine tasting event on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bacchus Wine Shop, 2056 Broadway (between 70th and 71st Streets) in New York City. The evening includes a tasting of eight wines from a Riedel cystal wine glass that is yours to take home. Tickets are $20 per person, with a maximum of two tickets per alumni. NYIT TO HOST GREEN FORUM IN NANJING
Includes Energy, Education, Environmental Initiatives
NYIT and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT) will host a two-day forum in Nanjing, China, April 7 - 9, 2010 that will bring together experts from the world's leading companies as well as government officials and leaders in higher education to explore sustainability challenges and solutions, technological and policy breakthroughs, and educational programs positioned to drive changes in energy practices that will benefit the world at large. Learn more.

Freeport RenovationsArchitecture and Design Students Create 'Revisions' for New York Community 
After a semester of meeting with residents, civic leaders, public officials, and planning and architectural professionals, fourth-year and graduate School of Architecture and Design students unveiled their visions for transforming an area of Freeport, N.Y. On Dec. 8, the students presented their design proposals, which incorporate smart growth and sustainable elements that address planning challenges related to land use and open space, transportation, housing, and commercial activity. The projects were co-coordinated by Professors John di Domenico and Janet Fink.
