Dean ENGTNYIT Welcomes New Dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences 
Nada Marie Anid, Ph.D., has joined NYIT as dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. She comes to NYIT after a successful career at Manhattan College, where she was chair and graduate program director of the chemical engineering department. In addition, Anid has served as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Defense and numerous scientific and engineering journals. She has also held positions as adjunct and visiting professor at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University, and has served as consultant for the New York Academy of Sciences and the United Nations, among other organizations.

NYIT CELEBRATIONS IN CHINA

Young Alumni Reception
NYIT graduates age 35 and under are welcome to join us on Thursday, June 4, from 6 - 8 p.m. for happy hour at Houndstooth Pub, 520 8th Ave., New York City. Six FlagsAlumni Family and Friends Day at Great Adventure 
The NYIT Alumni Federation will host a day-long family and friends outing at Great Adventure Amusement Park on Sunday, June 7. Catch up with old classmates as you spend the day enjoying park rides and attractions. The price is $50 per person and includes all-day admission to the park (all rides and the Wild Safari), as well as a two-hour all-you-can-eat buffet from 2 - 4 p.m. This special price requires that we obtain a minimum commitment of 100 people in order to have this event. All payments must be received no later than Friday, May 1. Please make checks payable to NYIT. Las Vegas Reunion for Grads of the 1960s 
All NYIT alumni from the classes of 1960 through 1969 are invited to a class reunion on Thursday, June 18, hosted by Roy Student, class of 1964, in his home town of Las Vegas at Pasta Mia Restaurant, 4455 West Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, Nev. at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and an open bar, while reminiscing about your NYIT days.
