Student Success Stories
School of Management students in Professor Abram Poczter's Business Policy Seminar placed in the top 5 percent in an international online business simulation competition called Glo-Bus. Created by The McGraw-Hill Companies, the contest tests students' ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for a midsize consumer electronics company.
School of Architecture and Design students exhibited their studio work from Nov. 16 to Nov. 26 at the Port Jefferson (N.Y.)Village Center. Their designs, which were incorporated into the Port Jefferson Hamlet Study, included sustainable transit-oriented development proposals as well as housing projects for an area surrounding a Long Island Railraod station.
