The summer has been an exciting period for DNS: we have launched our new contractor-dedicated online accounting portal and seen a healthy upturn in new business activity; this is certainly a good time to start a new business venture. At last a healthy business forecast is on the horizon for this autumn.
Bogus HMRC emails
Beware emails about tax refunds: HMRC would never contact you via email; these are scam emails and you should ignore them.
Expenses
Do you want to verify what expenses you can claim and the receipts you should keep? Go to: http://www.dnsassociates.co.uk/PDF%20Documents/Expenses%20and%20Receipt.xls
Tax need not be taxing
DNS keep clients informed about tax and remind you about how much you owe and when to pay, but remember that all the information you need about making payments can be accessed via our website at http://www.dnsassociates.co.uk/resources.asp.
Are you eligible for tax credits?
Although many DNS clients are due tax credits based on their financial situation many are not yet recipients. DNS can only help you make the claim when we receive all the information we ask for. Are you entitled to tax credits? Email taxcredit@dnsassociates.co.uk and we will check your entitlement, which, when confirmed, we will help you process.
DNS online accounting Portal
Have you visited the new DNS online accounting portal and seen some of the fantastic additional features like the easy to use help menu? Have you practiced with the demo? We hope you agree that it's much easier to use. The DNS team is still available for support via email or phone should you need it.
We have already started migrating clients to the new portal, and are in the process of delivering new logins and passwords, so keep an eye out for yours. Please remember to send us your bank statements as requested.

We are updating and streamlining the DNS website and will launch the new easier-to-navigate site very soon.
