March 26, 2010
Greetings!

I reckon this is the last budget under Labour, and they have not disappointed us in their bid to save their crumbling government.

We are delighted to report that none of our tax-planning strategies is affected as a result of Chancellor Darling's budget; to check out the key points please go to
 http://www.dnsassociates.co.uk/PDF%20Documents/BUDGET%202010%20KEY%20POINTS.pdf

If managing a limited company is not up your street you may be interested in looking at other alternatives, but then the worry is whether the alternatives are as safe. Going by the latest budget the DNS hassle-free alternatives remain safe enough, at least until the next budget.

All the other tax-planning components of our strategy remain safe: we can still make you savings on Stamp Duty and Corporation Tax. Wow! What a relief.

Budget Highlights

Please go through the key points and feel free to call us if you wish to clarify certain points or need any further information. Highlights of the 2010 budget are:
  • No Stamp Duty on Property purchases up to £250K
  •  5% Stamp Duty on property over £1m from April 2011
  •  Entrepreneurial relief on Capital Gains Tax to increase to £2m
  •  Reduction in the amount of time over-65s must work to get Tax Credits
  •  Inheritance Tax frozen for four years

The next government will undoubtedly come up with new anti-avoidance measures in the next budget, so, meanwhile, DNS will avail all our clients of our tax-planning strategies and help you make hay while the sun still shines!

  • With nothing major to rock us, as there was in the last Budget, let's enjoy the stability and continue in our drive to legally save all DNS clients unnecessary taxation and claw back all credits due to you!

Best wishes for a great spring season,

    Sincerely,

    Sumit Agarwal
