Small Business owners have a real concern and uncertainty about expenses which can be claimed against income. As a logical test any expense incurred for the business purposes can be claimed against income. For eg. you bought computer for business use it can be claimed as expense. If you bought Toys for your kids they cannot be claimed as expense against income.
