  YARN/FLEECE DYEING WORKSHOP

Patricia Farley & Knit One

Patricia has been happily making art wear in her studio for over twenty years.
A largely self-taught artist, she has been creating with her hands for as long as she remembers.
She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, studying
English and Art History. She worked in publishing, retailing and social work before
following her passion for textiles.  Patricia learned weaving from Rose Bank at the
Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, and after thirteen years creating woven garments, she
made the transition to surface design. Her work with color and pattern became more
spontaneous and direct. Her garment designs became more personal ten years ago when
she designed the shirt she always wanted to wear. The FARLEYFARLEY label was born.

Stash Busting

We at Knit One will never tell you to do your spring cleaning. We would love to
invite you,
though, to an end of winter Stash Busting Party! Go through your cupboards, closets,
bags and bring a pile of stash. Linda will help you pull it together for one large or
several small cohesive projects. You can even swap stash with other knitters.

Our lips are sealed - we promise not to tell how much you have hoarded away.
You will feel so much better when you have yarn on the needles and a project
in your knitting bag. Better (well, almost) than a session with Dr. Stacey in her day job!

Fee: $15, class size limited

Bring a friend and receive a special gift!
